Sports Day- Their infectious energy, their vigour, their will to win, their sportsman spirit! They’ll win your hearts as you see them in action. Watch Preschool Sports Day at a fast glance! Their excitement saw no bounds as activities one after the other were lined up and winners announced after each sport! The mood was upbeat and the rewards were truly worthwhile after all the hard work the children put in! Here’s a glance at the Sports Day of A-One School! Annual Sports Day (STD. 1 to 3)-A-One School celebrated its Annual Sports Day from Std. 1 to 3 on the school campus. It was a day filled with fervour, exhilaration, thrills and cheers. The event commenced with a welcome speech wherein the emphasis was laid on the importance of sports in a student’s life.The ceremonial torch was taken for a run by the captains of all four houses, followed by an oath-taking ceremony. Sports day also comprised of many dance performances & the races wherein participants took part with full verve & vigour. It was a delight to see the excitement of participants as they attempted a variety of races, such as hurdle race, sack race, book balancing race etc. On this very exciting and cheerful day, every student looked forward to participating in a plethora of sporting events. The students were on their marks and all set to go and win medals for their houses and themselves. The day ended with smiles and memories to last a lifetime.

Inter-school Competitions

Rangoli Competition- Rangoli is a fabulous hand drawing art, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colours, diyas, flower petals, glitters etc. It is a way to express imagination. The purpose of rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck as well. Keeping this in mind, Inter- House Rangoli making competition was organized in A-One School. Children put in lots of effort and came up with amazing ideas. They used mirrors, diyas, laces, glitters and other decorative materials to beautify their rangolis. All the houses participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. It was held to get us into the festive mood and was very colourful and glorious and gave us first-hand experience of teamwork. Wishing you all a Prosperous New Year from all of us at A-One School..! 

Best out of waste- We humankind have suffocated our mother nature with all sorts of pollution, exploitation of natural wealth destroying nature or creating an imbalance in nature. So, to make the world a better living place we must start reusing, recycling and reducing the use of resources, and to make the next generation understand the significance of nature the school management had organized a need of the hour activity, i.e. best out of waste. The minds of the children have boundless creativity and potential, and they justified this God-gifted talent by taking part in this activity. The imaginative minds executed their plans meticulously and the products are marvellous. Here are some glimpses of the creations of our superheroes who have decided to protect mother earth

Educational Tours & Trips

“Night Out” The word best describes Euphoria and Exuberance. A day that was most awaited by the students of Std.3, 5 and 7 turned out to be a memorable one. In the lap of green serene in one of our premises Aavishkar, the students enjoyed their time participating in various activities, team games, DJ and delicious meals. The night replenished the students with a cheerful environment. It made kids learn the importance of staying together, having a great time, respecting and understanding one another. All the teachers that attended the night out also made sure that the students followed all the rules and regulations. No one was left behind and everyone got the chance to enjoy and have the most out of this Night Out. We are delighted to inform you that we had planned an educational field trip to the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID)! This was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about design and gain valuable insights from top professionals in the industry.

During the trip, they got to explore the campus, interact with expert faculty and students, attend informative workshops, and visit the latest exhibitions. This was a great chance to broaden your knowledge and creativity in the field of design. Let’s make learning fun and inspiring!

Picnic for Kindergarten

“Picnic is more than eating a meal. It’s a pleasurable state of mind.”

A-One Preschool organized a fun-filled picnic with moms for the students at Kankariya Zoo. The day was filled with so much happiness! The students were all in good spirits. The students and their moms undoubtedly treasured the day, and the memories were etched in their minds. The children have got the opportunity to spend time with animals & birds, it helps in stimulating their sense of love towards nature.

The day marked a significant flair of endless fun with exciting activities, rides and slides! Standard 1 student went on a day’s picnic to Dastan Farm. Few joyous bytes, a few happy bits for you to see!

The school picnic organized by A-One School for Std.10 students after board exams was a great success. It was a fun-filled day, which provided an opportunity for students and teachers to bond outside the classroom and create lasting memories. It was a perfect break from the routine and provided much-needed relaxation and enjoyment for the students and faculty. Students and teachers had a great time and gathered unforgettable memories in the spacious area of the picnic venue, Aavishkar School. The weather was pleasant, with the sun shining and a cool breeze blowing, which made the atmosphere perfect for outdoor activities. There were also food stalls serving delicious snacks and refreshments, which were enjoyed by everyone.

Assembly

Morning Assembly undoubtedly holds the most important position as it provides opportunities for students to hone their skills, build healthy competition, be ready for community participation, imbibe the spirit of dedicated teamwork, boost confidence in young minds and generate the endeavors for public speaking.To re-manifest the same among our A-One students, an assembly by the s Std.9 was organised for the students of the 9th. The assembly commenced with prayer to create a peaceful serene atmosphere, which was followed by the thought of the day to inculcate values in them regarding time management.

To make them aware of the world scenario, the news bulletin team shared the updates including weather reports. It was followed by some idioms in English and Hindi and amazing Science Facts.A group dance facilitates the quality of synchronization, focus, performance, team spirit and mostly confidence. And our children showed all these characteristics while presenting the group dance. But the main attraction of the assembly was the skit “Andheri Nagari and Chaupat Raja”. Students also exhibited some working and non-working science models and showed their talents and understanding in the field of science.

Career Counseling

Career Counseling for STD.10- Career counseling is an essential factor for identifying the real potential and guiding students towards the right career path. A-One School organised Career Counseling Sessions for the parents and students of Standard 10th on January 11, 2023, which was chaired by Mr Mohit Mongal, an IITian himself and a professor of many highly reputed institutions like IITs and IIMs. It was organised to help students to make the best choices towards their selection of streams based on their skills and aptitude. Sir explained the systematic process of Career Planning and subject selection, taking into account the personality, interest, learning styles and aptitude factors. He also explained about the scope of various subjects into conventional and unconventional careers.

* Career Counseling…!!

Career counseling is an essential factor for identifying the real potential and guiding students towards the right career path. A-One School organized a career counselling workshop for the students of Std.11 Commerce. The session aimed at helping students to make the best choices for their careers based on skills, passion and aptitude. Speaker Ms Krishna Bhati explained to the students about the systematic process of career planning and subject selection, taking into account the personality, interests, learning styles, aptitude factors and passion for a profession. She also spoke about the scope of various subjects and fields where they can make their career. The students understood that good career planning helps in saving time, energy, effort and money. If they choose a career according to their passion, then the sky is the limit.

Parents Teacher Meeting- A Parents Teacher Meeting was held for the students of A-One School, to form a healthy relationship between the parents and the teachers. This meeting was held to talk about students’ performance and progress. It was a good time when the parents asked questions and shared their thoughts with the teachers about a better and healthy teaching-learning process, behaviour and discipline.
