A-One School celebrated the auspicious day of Gurupurnima with great reverence and devotion. This day is celebrated on the full moon day of the Ashadha month of the Hindu Calendar to give tribute to Guru Veda Vyasa.
The celebration began with a happy note with students singing the Guru Stuti and Vandana followed by a beautiful speech describing the significance of Guru and the metamorphosis of the student-teacher relationship over the years. A beautiful skit based on the real life of Guru Dronacharya and Eklavya was presented by the students highlighting the Guru’s role in shaping the students’ personalities.
The day was also celebrated by giving greeting cards to teachers by students showing their gratitude. They all got applause from everyone. The celebration was concluded with gaiety and gratitude all around.
